Tanglewood, the Berkshires and beyond

Simmons' Way Village Inn is surrounded by the arts, including Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. A variety of music is presented each season, with world-renown artists performing classical, jazz, choral music, and more. A terrific way to enjoy a performance at Tanglewood is to arrive early and stake out a picnic spot on the lawn and plan to listen to the concert under the stars! Tickets for seating in the Shed are available, too.

Great Barrington's historic and beautifully- restored Mahaiwe Theater offers a rich mélange of entertainment including film, theatrical and musical performances, opera, and a lecture series. It first opened in September 1905, and is one of the oldest surviving theaters in the country.

Jacob's Pillow is a National Historic Landmark in Becket, MA, and home to America's longest-running international dance festival. The summer-long season includes more than 50 national and international dance companies and 300 performances, plus talks, tours, exhibits, and events.
